PMI Information System Community of Practice
Now officially a Community of Practice (CoP) rather than a Specific Interest Group, we are continuing our monthly meetings featuring speakers and our "famous" roundtable discussions.
We meet regularly on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, at Vancouver Community College, Downtown Campus from 7:30 am - 8:30 am, in room 429. The college's street address is 250 West Pender Street. Street parking is available on Cambie and Hamilton and there is also a parkade at the corner of Cambie and Pender (street parking is free at that time of morning).
Find out details about our next meeting here.
You will also find below, summaries of some of the topics we've discussed in our sessions up until February 2011. For details of sessions after February 2011 please see our past IS CoP events (files are posted to the event listing).
Thanks to our sponsors, for supporting us throughout this year's activities: Software Productivity Centre, Teksystems, Eagle Professional Resources, PCGI Consulting, and BC Hydro.
Because of the generous support of our sponsors, there is no fee to attend our meetings. If you'd like more information or if you would like to be added to our distribution list, please contact Pamela Hollington at pamela@reboundltd.com or 604 988 4102.
