A Message from the President

You have entrusted me with a great responsibility: that of leading this Chapter. I want to ensure that your trust has not been misplaced. Let me start by introducing myself.

My name is Vijay Ranganathan, and I am a seasoned Project Manager specializing in software implementation. I have more than 30 years experience in banking, finance, manufacturing and small business. I am at present implementing a new banking system for one of the many fine financial institutions in this province.

I have a vision for our chapter. I want us to focus on you, our members. I want all our endeavours to focus on serving our membership. All our initiatives must be governed by Three Pillars.

The First Pillar: Membership
To identify and deliver the needs of our members, thereby reducing the member attrition rate and increasing the growth rate of our membership.
There will be more emphasis on our education and professional development courses, helping our members in their job searches, networking opportunities and PM skill development programs. I also will be in touch with members through email.

The Second Pillar: Volunteers
To more effectively engage and utilize the volunteer team members, tap into their talent, and increase their satisfaction experience.
We have almost eighty dedicated volunteers who ensure that we offer quality service to our members. Ensuring their satisfaction and that their volunteer experience is positive are key to our success.

The Third Pillar: Financial Stability
To improve the financial status of our Chapter by increasing our Asset base.
Though we are a not-for-profit organization, we need to be financially strong to offer consistent and quality service to our members. We will be launching multiple events and also an annual conference to generate additional revenue for the Chapter.

At the base of these three pillars, is you. With your help and cooperation, we can achieve our goals. I look forward to your support and feedback.
