
As part of the service to members, Canadian West Coast Chapter of the Project
Management Institute holds regularly scheduled presentations. These events are for the entire Project Management community of British Columbia and are open to the public with a discount for members. Advance registration is required for all CWCC PMI events. CWCC PMI welcomes suggestions for speakers and topics. CWCC PMI
also welcomes
Sponsors for
any event.
CWCC PMI regular events are designed to promote networking within the Project
Management community. The events also help members keep up with current PM
topics. Finally, regular events provide a way for BC members to earn PDU's
regularly outside of normal work hours with different format options.
Regular events include:CWCC PMI Monthly Events
Dinner Meetings provide opportunities to meet and network with other project
management professionals and to learn more about project management best
practices and case studies. These after-work meetings are three hours in length
and held at banquet facilities convenient to downtown Vancouver. Dinner Meetings
are typically held the third Wednesday of each month from January to November
(excluding July and August).
As opportunity permits, CWCC PMI also makes available to its members seminars
and workshops designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of project
managers.
