INFORMATION ON HOW TO CLAIM PDU'S FOR 2010 EVENTS

General Notes:

1)  If you do not have a certfication with the PMI, such as a PMP, PgMP or PMI-RMP certification, yo do not   need to file PDUs for continuing education.  Also CAPM holders do not file PDUs.

2)  Only attendees that were present during the full session (i.e. 3 hours for the monthly dinner event) are eligible to claim PDUs.

Please Note: If you are not staying for the full 3 hour monthly dinner event then you will have to claim 1 or 2 PDUs under Cat 4 other program provider  https://www.pmi.org/CCRS/Certificants/ClaimPDU.aspx

CLAIMING PDUs FOR - PMI VANCOUVER TOASTMASTERS:

The calendar year to earn PDUs is between July - June, and there are two ways to earn your PUD’s by:

1)  Attending PMI Vancouver Toastmaster meetings regularly and taking on specific roles and performing speeches (as identified in the list below).  One can claim these activities for 1 PDU each, up to twice per year for a total of 14 PDUs in a year.                                                 

2)  Being part of the PMI Vancouver Toastmasters Executive Team for 12 months of continuous participation up to 5 PDUs in a Toastmaster's calendar year.


Qualifying Meeting Role Activities: (1 PDU for each Activity) FOR CATEGORY 2 - Self Learning

Each activity can only be claimed twice per year to earn 1 PDU for a total of 14 PDUs/year and the roles must be performed only at the PMI Vancouver Toastmasters meeting.   For auditing purposes, all activities claimed must be recorded on the individual members PMI Vancouver Toastmasters - PDU Tracking Sheet and be signed off by one of the Executive Team who holds a PMP designation.
